When you place an order for a product in any of the ways described above, you are offering to buy it for the price stated, subject to these terms.
We accept all major credit cards. Prepayment can be made against proforma invoices via cheque. Once the cheque clears, the goods will be dispatched. Cheques are made payable to "Chalkpens Ltd". If paying by BACS, please contact us and we will provide you with our sortcode and account number.
Our office is open from 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Any orders we receive after 3pm will be sent the following day.
For opening hours on Bank Holidays etc, please contact us.
If you order over the phone, order details will be read back to the customer for confirmaton. Once accepted by the customer, any errors (outwith typing miskakes etc) will be the responsibility of the customer and we will not be liable for any additional costs/penalties arising from these errors.
Prices quoted on this website are exclusive of VAT. We do not charge vat as we are not vat registered.
Your details will not be passed to any 3rd party at any time. We may from time to time contact you by email to inform you of special offers etc. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time.
Prices quoted on this website are in Pound Sterling. All payments are to be made in Pound Sterling.
We reserve the right to cancel any order without notice but we will inform you if we do so. If payment has already been received, a full refund will be issued. Please note: refunds can take up to 7 days to appear back in your account.
We always try to make sure the prices and delivery costs on www.chalkpens.com are as accurate as possible but errors may occur. If we discover a pricing error with the products in your order, or an error in the delivery cost, we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us with. We will then give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price of cancelling it. If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled. In the unlikely event we have to cancel an order, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full.
Non-EU customers are responsible for Import Duty/Tax in their respective countries. Unfortunately we cannot advise you what these costs will be - please consult your local customs office for more information.
We try to keep www.chalkpens.comas up to date as possible but cannot guarentee that a particular product will always be available. If we cannot supply a product that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you a similar/alternative product at the same price. If you do not want the alternative product, we will refund you the money you have paid for it.
Shipping and Handling: We aim to dispatch all stock items within 48 hours of receipt of the order. You will receive an email when the goods have been dispatched. To confirm, please contact us: email@example.com
We send all parcels with Royal Mail, Parcelforce & Interlink Express. For signed services, please note you are signing for the goods being received in "good condition". On the rare occasion that goods arrive damaged, if you sign for them as received "in good condition" we are unable to make any claim with the carrier, therefore we cannot refund the cost of the goods or offer a replacement. We package the products as well as possible to ensure they arrive in good condition. It is imperative that the goods are checked before signing them "in good condition". If another individual signs for the goods, it is your responsibility to check they are aware of the delivery terms and conditions. You cannot claim if they have not been made aware of these conditions.

We endevour to inform you if there is a problem with your order. However, we will not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expences caused by any delay of your order.
If the products are not delivered within the estimated time which we quoted, please contact us by email or telephone and we will try and ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible. If you cancel your order before the goods have been sent, we will refund you in full. If you cancel your order after the goods have been sent, we can only refund you once you have sent the items back to us and we receive them in good condition. Please note: we cannot offer refunds on any items that have been used.
Back orders: If your item is out of stock, we will put it on back order. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you do not wish to wait.
Credit Card Security: When orders are placed on our website, you will be taken to Braintree for secure online payment. No credit card detals are kept on our website. You can order over the phone and we will take payment. Your details will be entered straight into our Worldpay online system and we will give you confirmation once the payment has gone through.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. All stock items come with a 7 day return policy if you are dissatisfied (subject to being unused and returned in the original packaging). Please note: we cannot refund postage & packaging costs in this situation.
Severability: If any part of these terms & conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, the enforceability of any other part of these terms & conditions will not be effected.
Governing Law: These terms & conditions any contract between us shall be goverened by and interpreted in accordance with English Law. The English courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.
Statutory Rights: These terms & conditions are in addition to your statutory rights as a customer which remain uneffected.
